Waters & Gate offer a full suite of bespoke tracing services.
All our tracing is on a “No Trace, No Fee” basis. If we don’t trace the information, we don’t charge.
Our tracing department achieves high quality, accurate and verified data. Having a confirmed address enables you to reconnect with your debtors which will improve the chances of a successful recovery.
We will build a profile of your customers location, then will make discreet enquiries with local sources such as neighbours and sometimes the subject themselves, to ensure you are engaging with the right person at the correct address at all times.
We have a robust GDPR framework built into all our tracing processes, and we always operate within the guidelines set out by the CSA, ICO and the FCA.

Full Tracing Service
A report will be provided with the subject’s current address with separate independent verifications of their residency.
Our job is to provide as much information as possible. Our tracing team will also try and obtain a mobile number, landline, and email.
On average this work takes between 1-7 days.
Cost: £75+VAT on a “No Trace, No Fee” basis
Employment Tracing
We will confirm both your subject’s employment status and details of their employer.
This is particularly useful when considering legal action or enforcement options, for example an “Attachment of Earnings” application.
On average this work takes between 1-7 days.
Cost: £95+VAT on a “No Trace, No Fee” basis
Combined Address and Employment Tracing
One of our most popular services, alongside providing the subjects employment status and employer we will also trace the subject’s current address with separate independent verifications of their residency.
A mobile number, landline and email will be provided when possible.
On average this work takes between 1-10 days.
Cost: £110+VAT on a “No Trace, No Fee” basis
Asset Reports
We will search and locate hidden assets, uncover investments, property and also company directorships and shares providing you with a comprehensive insight into your subject’s financial background.
Given the complex nature of the report, on average this work takes between 10-30 days.
